Going into our 3 rd full season at Star City Sk8 & Family FunZone being back under the original owners of Raymond “Satch “ Setchel, Peggy Setchel and Mark Setchel, Star City Sk8 & Family FunZone is back and better than ever.

After 2 years of repairs and renovations Star City Sk8 & Family FunZone has once again become the Roanoke Valleys Premiere roller skating facility where families can enjoy a clean and safe family environment for all ages.

We firmly believe that families that play together stay together.

Star City Sk8 & Family FunZone is once again a place where families, churches, schools and corporations can come and experience a great time together.

Still available are our online song requests for Total Request Live Fridays, Exclusive Club Registration where you can win a skate night for you and 50 friends, photo galleries, coupons, games and more.

The maple rotunda hardwood roller skating floor is still in pristine condition and is the largest skating floor in the Roanoke Valley . Our FunZone a softplay indoor playground is ready for the little ones 10 years of age and under to come and enjoy climbing, sliding, jumping, swinging, or just hanging out with other children. The arcade is full of games and the Stuff Shop is full of fun prizes you can win as you gather tickets from some of your favorite games.

The private birthday party rooms are waiting for YOUR special party. Invite your family and friends and show up have a great time while WE do all the work. Check our NEW birthday party packages. We have the widest ranges of parties of anyone in the Roanoke Valley . Private party rates are also available as well as group rates.

Learn to roller skate at our Saturday morning Slo-Rollers beginner class and session that is open to beginners skaters of all ages and from there be promoted to Intermediate and Advanced classes.

Our Inline Speed skating team is being coached by Buggy Allmond this year. Buggy comes to us with over 40 years of speed skating experience from being a member of the world teams for many years to still placing at the National Championships in 2007. Buggy was also the team manager for the 2007 USA National Inline speed skating team in Cali , Columbia and the head coach for the elite skaters' clinics at the Unites States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Co. Buggy is also a member of United States Amateur Roller Skating Hall of Fame. Buggy has coached numerous Regional and National champions and the legend will live on with his presence at Star City .

Star City Sk8 & Family FunZone is proud to host the largest inline skating competition in the United States this year scheduled for Presidents Day weekend.
